Event Details

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 22nd Annual Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair has been moved to Saturday, September 26, 2020.  The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Anoka Area Chamber President Peter Turok stated that, “The health and safety of attendees, vendors, staff, and volunteers is our primary concern. The new event is date is, of course, contingent on favorable direction from health officials. We think the new date will be a great option. September weather tends to lend itself well to an event like this, and we hope to be able to offer another stellar event.”

Anoka Riverfest and Craft Fair is one of the largest outdoor craft fairs in the Twin Cities, with more than 140 juried crafters, food court, music, and more, all set near the Rum River in the heart of historic downtown Anoka.  In addition to the event itself, visitors can enjoy the quaint antique, clothing, jewelry shops, restaurants, and charm that this historic river town has to offer. The event is free to attend and parking is free, too.

“Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26. The event runs from 9am to 5pm. There is something fun for everyone at the Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair,” says Turok.

  1. We do not sell arts and crafts but raise money for the University of Minnesota honey bee research center
We give away sample jars free of honey but ask for a donation of any amount
Are we able to have a display in anoka and if so what is the price and space size thanks

    • Thank you for your interest in the Anoka Riverfest. As you can imagine, we receive many request for booth space from groups that don’t feature arts and crafts. As we are an arts and craft show, we do not allow those not featuring those items to be in the show. If we were to allow one in, we would have to allow all. There are acceptations but those are from are very limited sponsor booths.

  2. Do you have any news about the availability of the show?

    • Nick, We continue to talk to the City of Anoka about how the show could be held. The reality it, it won’t be the city but rather the State of MN that will make the call whether we can do the show or not. We do have time on our side and the hope is restrictions will improve. I will me digging in around the middle of August and let all know what our decision will be.
