A growing community nestled in the northwestern corner of Anoka County, St. Francis has blended urban and rural living that strikes a cord with those who are looking for a little of both.
Artifacts of the past can still be found today in St. Francis. The Rum River Inn which was once called the Riverside Motel, is backed by the ever flowing Rum River and Bridge Street. And the Leather’s Grocery Store of old had been transformed to St. Francis Hardware Store. St. Francis is a lovely, scenic area which can boast of the Rum River winding its way through the center of the City, and walks along the banks have brought to light many different artifacts of the past from early settlers. In addition to this however, the City has its sights on the future which is evident by the growth along the Highway 47 corridor. With the addition of the St. Francis City Centre along this corridor, new businesses have come to the area to provide products and services to those in town and those just traveling through.
We invite you to come, see and enjoy what our City has to offer!
