The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week are the “Business Lists”. The Chamber has 3 business lists available to members. They are the member list, vip list and non-member list. All 3 of these lists are available to you either printed out, emailed to you in whatever format you need, heck we’ll even print mailing labels for you. Again, ONLY CHAMBER MEMBERS GET THESE LISTS! It is another benefit of membership and a chance for you to tell them about your products and services. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is the Brochure Rack. Here’s the deal, the Chamber has a brochure rack in the office. People come in and they go to that rack and they start grabbing flyers, maps, etc. Members can put brochures in that rack. People take them and business occurs. It really is simple. Does your business have something in that rack? If not, drop off a batch and we’ll get it in the rack. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is your free business segment on the Chamber Cable TV Show. Each month The Chamber Report Cable TV Show appears on local cable access in Andover, Anoka, Champlin, Coon Rapids and Ramsey. Once a year a member can have a 5 minute feature on their business. You would write the questions that would be asked. All you have to do is sign up for an upcoming taping segment and show up! It has a value of over $1000 but its FREE to Chamber Members. Contact the office for full details and to sign up your business to be featured!!

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is your free write up in the chamber newsletter in the “Member News” column. This is one of the most popular member benefits we have. Each month the chamber newsletter goes out to over 1100 businesses in our area. Twice a year each member can feature an article about their business. You write it and submit it. You can also include a logo and picture if you’d like. It’s a great way to tell other members the who, what, when, where and why about your business. Space is limited so call to reserve your spot and get the details you’ll need to do it. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is “Member Discounts”. Did you know that just by being a member of the Chamber you are eligable for discounts being offered from other members? Just go to anokaareachamber.com. Click on the “Member” tab and then click on “Member Discounts”. There you’ll see all that are offered to you. Do you want to offer a discount to other Chamber members? Just email me the details of the discount and your contact information and I’ll get it on the list! Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is your business listing on the chamber web site. Over 300 unique hits a day occur on the Chamber web site. We track where those hits are going and by far a majority are going to our member listing section which is exactly where we want them to go. Here’s some homework for you. Go to www.anokaareachamber.com and click on the member list and look at your listing. If you aren’t listed, getting on the site is easy. Go back to the home page and head to the bottom where you’ll click on “Update/Edit Listing”. Once there fill out the information and click submit. That’s all you have to do. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is Networking. Over the years when we ask businesses why they joined the Chamber the two most popular answers are networking and community. You want networking and we provide it!!! From our AM Connections Networking Group that meets twice a month or a membership luncheon or our Wines & Steins Networking Club, if you want it we’ve got it! The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is the Chamber Brochure Rack. The Chamber features a brochure rack in the office. It has our chamber magazines, maps, bus schedules and more. The more is provided by our chamber members. Its a chance for you to put a brochure featuring your business in the rack! People are constantly coming into the office and they head right to the rack and grab pieces. They could be taking something about your business but only if you are in the rack! To get in the rack is easy, just drop off what you have and we’ll get it there and in front of a lot of people. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.
