The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is referrals from the Chamber. Here’s the best part about this benefit. You don’t have to do anything because you already did by joining the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce.
Every day the Chamber office is called by the public or other businesses asking for referrals for products or services they need. As a member, we tell them about you. We don’t pick one member over the other, but tell them about all the members that cover their request and needs. We only tell those requesting referrals about Chamber members in good standing. That’s it, no one else, just members. You’ve done your first part and that is to join the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce. Now it’s our time to go to work for you. Whether someone is looking for flowers, a motel or an accountant, we’ll tell them about Chamber members.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is “Your Business Listing on the Chamber Web Site”. This benefit is one that continues to give day in and day out. As a member of the Chamber you get 2 listings on the Chamber web site. One in a category of your choice and the other alphabetical. The Chamber receives over 350 unique hits a day on the site. A unique hit means that the person goes beyond the home page. We track that and by far the majority go to the Chamber Member listing section and that is exactly where we want them to go. Your listing includes all your basic information along with a link to your web site. We ask that the members put their information on the web site listing and it’s easy. Call the Chamber office and we’ll give you the details. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

Networking: You want it, we deliver it!

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is “Networking!.” This benefit is one of the most important benefits we have. The Chamber’s job is to offer networking opportunities, your job is to take advantage of them. Whether it be attending the AM Connections Networking Group meetings that are held twice a month, the quarterly Wines & Steins Networking events, our Membership Luncheons or any other event that we have, networking is there for the taking. Networking is really not “selling” but rather “telling”. We’ll give you the chance to “tell” and from there the “sell” can happen. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is your chance to “Feature your business in the Member News Column of the Chamber newsletter.” This is one of the most popular benefits used by members and it’s no surprise. Twice a year members can feature their business in the Chamber newsletter that is mailed to over 1100 businesses. Your article can be up to 200 words in length and feature your logo and picture. It’s a great way to tell all the who, what, where, when and why about the products and services you offer. To get this benefit, contact the Chamber office and we’ll get you scheduled! Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is “Community”. The Anoka Area Chamber is involved heavily in our member communities. Our feeling is that the better our communities, the better the businesses are and the better the Chamber is. We understand this and work hard to do what we can in our communities. Over the years the Chamber has been involved with and/or helped out many different community players. This benefit is one you might not see out front but it is there and always important to the Chamber. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is your chance to get your name in the “Chamber Ribbon Cutting Bag”. The Anoka Area Chamber does a ton of ribbon cuttings each year at new businesses in our member communities. At the event we give the new business a bag full of items from our members. The items have to have value and not be any paper or coupons. Cozy Cups, pens or pads are just an example of items you can put in those bags. They have your information on them and that is another way we help get your name out there. Just drop off 50 items at the Chamber office and we’ll get them in the bags when we do a ribbon cutting. Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is the Chamber “Email Blast List”. This is one of the most used benefits of membership. The Chamber has an Email Blast List of over 500 business member names. We’ll get you the list and you can then send out your own pieces highlighting the products and services you feature at your business. It’s fast, easy and FREE!! Contact staff to get the Email Blast List! Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week are the Chamber “Business Lists”. The Chamber has 3 lists available ONLY to Chamber members. The lists are the Member List, VIP List and Non-Member List. All of these lists are available in printed form, mailing label form or we can email you the lists in any format you want. That member list and VIP list are the key lists you should be aware of and utilize! Call the Chamber office today and get the business lists!! Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

Get your info in the “Rack”

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is the Chamber “Brochure Rack”. The Chamber office features a brochure rack. In that rack is the area map and magazine that we produce. It also has bus schedules and more. The more is where you come in. Members of the Chamber can put their brochures, flyers or whatever you may have in that rack. It’s another way we help members get their word out to other businesses and the public. Just drop off a batch of whatever and we’ll get it in the rack! Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.

The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce Benefit of the Week is a featured segment about your business on the “Chamber Report Cable TV Show”. This is one of the most popular benefits of membership in the Anoka Area Chamber. Each member has the opportunity to tell other members and the viewing public about their products and services on the Chamber Cable TV Show. This show is aired a ton of times locally on QCTV in Andover, Anoka, Champlin and Ramsey and on CTN in Coon Rapids. The segment on your business is 5 minutes in length and taped at the QCTV Studios in Champlin. You will provide me with 4 or 5 questions you want to answer and we’ll get the segment taped and running. The production value and air time on this segment is over $1500 but is FREE to Chamber Members! Call or email me for more details and to schedule your taping. This feature is offered once a year, year after year!! Remember, it’s not a benefit if you don’t use it.
