On Jan. 30 the Anoka Area Chamber hosted the 1st Annual Mayors Trail Ride Snowmobile Event on the Rum River. It was a GREAT way to show off the resource the river is whether winter or summer! All proceeds went to Youth First!
The Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce serves the communities of Andover, Anoka, Champlin, Dayton, Ramsey and St. Francis Minnesota.
I am so glad there is move under foot to promote the two rivers. There is so much potential for the city and the county. A good restaurant on the river would be a great start and then maybe a hotel or convention center. A board walk and maybe somewhere up river, maybe Ramsey, a nice campground. The opportunities are endless. Where can I begin?
